The Stages of New Year Resolutions

Stage 1: You’ve got your new matching workout clothes and are super excited to tackle #fitness2016

Stage 2: You get to the gym and have no clue where to start, but you’re not about to let anyone sense your gym-timidation.

Stage 3: You grab a workout buddy to keep you accountable – and hey, working out together could be fun!

Stage 4: Valentine’s Day candy goes on sale and you struggle to see why anyone would workout over binging chocolates.

Stage 5: Any movement counts as exercise right??

Stage 6: You decide to get your act together, because spring break is only 2 weeks away and you totally have time to get that beach bod!

Stage 7: The end of the semester is in sight and lifting pizza  from the box to your mouth is the closest thing you will get to working out until finals are over.

Stage 8: It’s summer vacation, and you are finally free! With no classes or homework to worry about, you have all of the time in the world to workout.

Or…to binge watch all of the shows you did not have time for during the semester.

Hopefully after stage 8 you find the motivation to get back into your workout routine, and start the cycle once more!
