My LC friend Kristin recently posted about the #100HappyDays challenge and at first, I was reluctant to try it out of fear of not having enough time. However, it has been over two weeks since I began posting each day about the things that make me happy and I have come to love it! It has shown me that recognizing the beauty in each day is so important to a person’s overall happiness and well-being.
Since I was little, the biggest thing that my parents’ have wanted for me is happiness. I have always been encouraged to do what makes me happy and this advice has made more and more of an impact on me as I have grown older. Through the #100HappyDays challenge, I’ve been able to reflect on the things that make me happy. I’ve realized that it is not only the big milestones, awards or life decisions that boost happiness, but also the small stepping stones along the way.
And for the puppy lover in all of you…
The end of the academic year is in sight and many of you graduating seniors have job hunting on your mind. Many of you are looking for jobs or summer internships. Some of you are deciding what courses to take next year and if you want to take summer courses, too. In whatever your current endeavors may be, I encourage you to do what makes you happy and take time out of each day to appreciate the little things in life.
